First, it only bases it off of your previous run. When you get high enough, you can start your next run three floors down from where you ended.I avoid these like the plague because I've yet to get anything that makes up for the risk of getting a cursed artifact. Anything healing can be managed with artifacts and green spaces, artifacts are better obtained via the shops or red spaces, and the risk of getting cursed artifacts or losing money just seems too high. I’ve yet to see anything really valuable come out of the ? spaces.It also lets you restart on hallway fights if one of your units starts in range of a beam tower and you need to readjust. With as RNG-reliant as Kama-ZONE is, you don't want to lose out on a fantastic run because your healer or tank died because they didn't position right. Pause, cancel the fight, and you go back in starting fresh. I had to redo the Floor 7 boss five times because Favi kept being an idiot, but it took less than five minutes to get through with my entire team intact. Resetting due to bad RNG is absolutely worth it.If you have only been focusing on one or the other, consider changing it up for your next 5*, even if it's only a single unit. I was very fortunate in that I decided to raise a melee and ranged unit as my first two 5*'s, because any fights where there's a damage shield is relatively easy to deal with. Speaking of, as I'm sure many people have figured out, having a mix of ranged and melee heroes is vital to not getting walled.However, do not neglect the Ranged/Melee ones if you're running a mixed team, as even giving one hero a 100% boost to their damage is immensely helpful. Skill damage especially seems to be very useful since it lets you bring both melee and ranged to get the benefit. The green melee/ranged/skill damage artifacts are bonkers.Since all artifacts stack, if you get two of the 50% Shields, you're doubling your starting HP. It's basically free HP at the start of every battle, and any amount of it is useful. Shield at start is very useful, as well, and should be priority #2.This is probably the best artifact class for survivability. Yeah, if you have the chance grab the 50% HP on Enemy Defeat, but don't pass up the 10% if you see it. That’s 50-60% HP recovery after every fight, and the only way I see needing more is to push past a boss by having the minion kills get you through the damage. You can easily get away with the 10% Heal on Enemy Defeat. ![]() If this has been discussed ad nauseum and I'm very late to the party, no worries! It can just die a slow death as people ignore it.
